ABOUT THE CLASS
This program will take untrained but passionate Juniors and Seniors in high school and turn them into proficient and professional photographers.
Students should expect to first learn about the exposure triangle, fundamentals of art and composition, and the beginnings of Photoshop and Lightroom operation.
Once students are proficient in manual camera operation and composition, students will move on to master multi-light portrait and product photography in a studio setting.
Second year students will continue to expand upon their photography knowledge and expertise by working on real campaigns throughout the local area.
Second year students will also learn the basics of video production, content creation, some web design concepts and code, and exit the program ready to be employed in a variety of in-demand fields.
Second year students will also graduate with three credit hours from Ivy Tech.
